Toen deze tweede Aesge Aesges in 1549 kinderloos stierf, ging het goed over in handen van zijn zuster Foeck van Hoxwier, die op 28 februari 1523 getrouwd was met Gaele van Galama uit Koudum. Gaele hield een dagboek bij in het Fries. Hij overleed in 1559, vijf jaar na zijn vrouw.
Zij is overleden op 19 juni 1554 in Mantgum, Baarderadeel, Friesland, zij was toen 58 jaar oud.
