Het vruchtgebruik van de nalatenschap berustte bij Trijntje Titia Scrinerius en haar nicht Maria Catharina Scrinerius. De eerstgenoemde stelde gelden ter beschikking waarmee 'het fonds der bestuurderen der Scrinerius Stichting' kon worden ingesteld. Nadat zij in 1926 overleden was, kreeg de Scrinerius Stichting de beschikking over de revenuen van de helft van de nalatenschap.
