Notes about Johan Joseph Dijst

Johan Joseph wordt op 04-05-1927 geschikt geacht voor de Militiedienst. Hij is lang 1.74 m. Op 29-06-1927 wordt hij voorlopig vrijgesteld wegens broederdienst. In de kolom "Opmerkingen" staat vermeld: "kan worden gemist". Niet bekend waar dit betrekking op heeft.
Het huwelijk met Klasina Gerardina Tuininga is op 18-12-1933 ontbonden. Volgens de gezinskaart vertrekt zijn vrouw Klasina Gerardina Tuininga met zijn twee kinderen op 23-03-1934. Zij krijgt namelijk een eigen (gezins)kaart.
Hij trouwt opnieuw met Maria Theresia Heinen. Zij was weduwe van Peter Herman Lemmens, overleden te Sittard 24-10-1936. Dit huwelijk was gesloten in oktober 1920 in Sittard. Maria Theresia Heinen had twee kinderen van Lemmens, die zij mee neemt.
Op 10-09-1933 en 18-12-1934 wordt uit Klasina Gerardina Tuininga, (ex)-echtgenote van Johan Joseph Dijst, respectievelijk Gerardus Louis Dijst en Willem Dijst geboren. Johan Joseph bestrijdt van beide kinderen het vaderschap. Bij arresten van de rechtbank van Amsterdam, dd 20-05-1935 en 26-11-1936, worden de ontkenningen van het vaderschap bevestigd. Sinds die tijd hebben de kinderen de achternaam Tuininga.
Uit Politierapporten 1940-1945: Op de Lindegracht 241 is een loods, dat door diverse glazenwassers in gebruik is als opslag van hun materiaal. In de nacht van 11 op 12 april 1941 wordt in de loods ingebroken. Diverse glazenwassersmateriaal wordt gestolen. Ook van Johan Joseph Dijst en zijn broer Marinus Cornelis (1913).
Bob van Nie:
Stiefopa Dijst was een aimabele man, een bikkel met een klein hartje. Hij kocht met oma het hele pand Keizersgracht 630 en dit werd een hotel. Hij ronselde Amerikaanse militairen, die op verlof naar Amsterdam kwamen. Hij sprak ze dan aan in zijn Amsterdams/Engels accent: “Do you want a nice hotel?” Zo ja bracht hij ze naar de Keizersgracht. In 1960 hebben ze het pand verkocht en zijn ze verhuist naar de Vijzelstraat.
Leuk detail was, dat opa is gaan werken bij Verkade in Zaandam(lopende band werk). Hij bezat toen een hele grote Amerikaanse auto. Dat maakt indruk en toen hij de eerste dag daar aan kwam, mocht hij zijn auto parkeren op de directie parkeerplaats.
