    Zij werd geboren te Steenwijkerwold 17 Maart 1875 en overleed te Enschede in de ouderdom van 78 jaar 8 Maart 1953, herhaalde malen gesterkt door de Genademiddelen va de H. Kerk. 12 Maart d.o.v. werd zij begraven op het R. K Kerkhof. In gezegende ouderdom, uitgeput van krachten, stierf zij, in de vrede des Heren, omringd door haar kinderen. Zij was een goede moeder, die veel zorgen en kommer heeft gekend. Vol toewijding voor haar echtgenoot en gezin. Haar rustige levensavond mocht zij doorbrengen temidden van kinderen en kleinkinderen, die haar op hun beurt met liefde omringden.
    Moge God haar de Eeuwige rust en Vrede geven voor haar onvermoeide goedheid en rusteloze zorg. Mijne dierbaren, moge God u zegenen in dit leven en mogen wij elkander weerzien in den hemel.
