Notes about Bartolomeus Dopschewijt

Deze Bartolomeus Dopckewits stond in 1649 bij de Universiteit van Franeker ingeschreven als rechtenstudent, "afkomstig van Koningsbergen in Polen". Hieronimus Dopckewits was meester chirurgijn en schoolmeester te Eemnes, Vianen 04 sept 1685,Lippenhuizen, Kortezwaag 1688, Beetsterzwaag 1698-1722, waar hij als "Chirurgyn ende snijmeester" en later als schoolmeester geboekt stond tot zijn dood in 1722. Zijn naam werd in het Fries vermengd met Dobschewijt maar al snel werd hij uit zijn land van herkomst: Pool genoemd. overleden aldaar 1722.
