Aleida hield vanaf haar huwelijk een dagboek bij. Zij hield dit vol tot 1754. Hierin noteerde zij de gebeurtenissn van de dag, allerlei betreffende het boerenbedrijf, dat zij uitoefende, speciaal de prijzen van de rogge en niet te vergeten het weer, dat haar kennelijk facineerde.

Het Aleida Leurinkhuis,Bekhoes of Dolfkeshoes genaamd is een typische akker-burgerwoning die werd bewoond door 2 gezinnen met een gezamenlijke deel en 1 weefkamer. Het is van eind 17e eeuw
