Dien bleef ongetrouwd. Ofschoon er meerdere mannen op haar pad kwamen kon er geen een aan haar eisen voldoen. Ze was wellicht iets te kritisch. Eentje werd b.v. door haar ongeschikt bevonden omdat hij altijd een pet droeg.
