Vermeld als Roelof Reijnders in de haardstedenregisters van het Zuidwoldiger Hoogeveen van 1691 t/m 1694; doet Kerst 1689 belijdenis; overleden tussen 1703 en 1706

Gedoopt wordt als dochter van Roelof Reijnders en Jantjen Willems Geert(ruit) Kam(erling) 00-08-1702.

Op dat tijdstip was Roelof nog niet met Jantjen getrouwd, terwijl de naam er toch wel op wijst dat zij een dochter van zijn eerste vrouw was. Mogelijk is Geertriut bij de geboorte van haar dochter overleden, zodat Roelof dit kind naar haar vernoemd heeft en dit pas later, samen met zijn nieuwe partner heeft laten dopen. Dit is de enige zinnige verklaring, die we voor deze tegenstrijdigheid kunnen bedenken. In Hoogeveen is later geen nageslacht van deze Roelof Reijnders te vinden.
