    Kees overleed aan de gevolgen van een verkeersongeluk. Het ongeluk vond op 22 augustus 1966 plaats in Woudenberg. In verband met de verwondingen werd hij overgebracht naar een ziekenhuis in Amersfoort, waar hij een dag later 23 augustus 1966 overleed.
    Hij werd begraven op 27 augustus 1966, de dag waarop hij 41 jaar daarvoor werd geboren.
    Oorzaak: Gevolgen van een ongeluk.

Notes about Cornelis "Kees" Bos

Is er iets terug te vinden over de erfeniskwestie?
Kees werkte tot 13 - 5 - 1952 op de boerderij van zijn vader en stiefmoeder (Jan Bos en Marie Rijksen), om daarna zelf te gaan boeren op Davelaar op een boerderij die in eigendom was bij diezelfde ouders. Werd boer met een kapitaal van fl. 2000,=. Na enkele jaren moest hij daarmee stoppen, omdat de boerderij buiten zijn medeweten werd verkocht.
Hij kocht toen de helft van een dubbel huis op Ekris 16 te Woudenberg en werd toen op 11 januari 1954 fabrieksarbeiderop de "VSW" te Veenendaal.
Er was een erfeniskwestie na het overlijden van Jan Bos. Deze kwestie werd behandeld door notaris Vink in Amerongen
In 1965 werkzaam hij werkzaam bij een rozenkwekerij.
Hij overleed aan de gevolgen van een ongeval
