Hij was o.a. voogd over twee minderjarige kinderen van dokter Theodorus Madius. Hij is borg voor 600 gulden voor Commer Arentsz die dit bedrag schuldig is aan Dirck Willemsz van Noorden. Marinus Breeman uit Sommelsdijk is 374 gulden schuldig aan Aerijen Aertsz Verstolck. Joost Verschuur de Jong, Lakencooper, machtigt Jacob Verhaven, zijn schoonzoon, coopman, om van Marinus Breeman 4359 gulden te eisen, die deze schuld is over levering van lakenen.
