In het Rotterdams Jaarboekje 1918 beschrijft G. Nauta ‘De Nederlandsche Handelshoogeschool in de eerste jaren van haar bestaan’ (blz. 108-113). In het Rotterdams Jaarboekje 1964 laat W.C. Mees, ‘Mijn herinneringen aan de oprichting van de Nederlandsche Handelshoogeschool’ (blz. 141-159), de revue passeren en in het Rotterdams Jaarboekje 1982 gaat F.J. Brevet in op ‘De naamgeving van de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam’ (blz. 206-207). Over de studenten is voor zover bekend niets meer beschreven dan de verschillende jaarboeken van de hogeschool vermeldden. Uit al die lijsten volgt een totaaloverzicht van de studenten die geboren zijn in Oost en West-Indië.
