Jérémie (geboren 8 oktober 1702) en Marthe Anne (geboren 10 juni 1705). De weduwe weet zich er doorheen te slaan. Met lessen fijne borduurwerken en Frans onderhoudt zij haar kleine gezin.

Jérémie Boissevain vertrekt na de dood van zijn moeder naar Londen, waar hij 4 jaar werkzaam is op een handelskantoor en hij Marie Charlotte du Chesne leert kennen, met wie hij in 1733 in het huwelijk treedt. Evenals zijn vader verdient Jérémie zijn brood als boekhouder en het geven van Franse les, maar dat is niet genoeg om in zijn onderhoud te voorzien. Jérémie en Marie Charlotte krijgen op 21 mei 1741 een zoon, Gedeon Jeremie Boissevain. Deze Amsterdamse boekhouder trouwt in 1767 met Marguérite Quien. Zij krijgen elf kinderen, van wie Daniel Boissevain (1772-1834) en Henri Jean Boissevain (1777-1823) de familielijnen voortzetten.
