Uit het tweede huwelijk van Maria Veijser sproot Maria, Elisabeth Engelbergh, geboren in 1661, die in 1688 trouwde met Danker Houtené, later een niet-ongefo’rtuneerde bierbrouwer te St. Annaland. Haar nageslacht kwam in de eerste helft van de 18de eeuw op Noord-Beveland terecht en bezette daar tot ver in de 19de eeuw vrijwel alle hogere openbare ambten. In de Franse tijd was haar te Colijnsplaat wonende kleinzoon Abraham Swemer ( 1747-1817) de op één na hoolgstaangeslagene in het Departement van de Monden van de Schelde. Hij was bewoner van het buiten ,,Sorgwijck” onder Wissenkerke op Noord-Beveland, dat tot in deze eeuw toebehoorde aan de tot het nageslacht van deze tak behorende leden van het geslacht Vader (van ‘s-Gravenpolder) en welk buiten eerst na de laats,te wereldoorlog werd verkaveld, waarna het huis werd gesloopt en de bossen
werden gekapt. Deze tak was niet erg honkvast en breidde zich reeds in de 18de eeuw mede uit over Zierikzee, Middelburg, Vlissingen en Veere. Het nageslacht van Agafha Amijs (1718-1782), gehuwd met de schout bij nacht van Zeeland Maarten Haringman, leverde een aantal hoge zee-officieren en een tweetal Veerse stadsregenten op. Tot de afstammelingen van deze tak behoren ook de Zierikzeese burgemeesters Dr. Nicolaas de Kater (1771-1824) en Christiaan Willem Vermeys ( 1862-1922) en - door aanhuwelijking - Marinus Piepers (1771-1861),
secretaris van Staat van Oorlog en hoofd van het Dept. van Oorlog in 1818. Het slot "Kraijensteyn"onder Birgh op Schouwen was een tijdland in het bezit van leden van deze tak.
