Aldus werd het wapen gevoerd door eerdergemelde Wolfer uan Dael (hieromnder bij IIIb), blijkens zijn grafzerk in de St. Stevenskerk te Nijmegen (zie R. T. Muschart, Grafzerken in Gelderland, Deel 1, p. 48) en door (diens zoon ?) Wouter van Dael, student te Utrecht 1650, blijkens het Wapenboek der Gelders-Overijsselse studentenvereniging (zie Mr. 0. S&utte, De wapenboeken dser Gelid,ers-Overijstselse Studeatenvereni~gingen ( s-Grav~enh~a~ge 1 9 7 5 ) .b’lz. 150), waarin :het wapen voorkomt al’s volgit: i;n goud drie
tweehags~b~elken van sabel en een #schildh’oofd van azuu,r met een gaanlde 11eeuw van zilver, gekroonid van goud, tgetonlgd en
genageld van keel: dekkleden: zilver en azuur: helmteken: de leeuw ui~tko:m~en~d.
