Anna is geboren op 22 januari 1914 te Groessen en is opgegroeid in een gezin van elf kinderen. Ze kon er altijd heel tevreden en gelukkig over vertellen. Op 14-jarige leeftijd ging ze in betrekking. Later leerde ze Herman kennen en ze trouwden in 1946 en gingen wonen in het ouderlijk huis van Herman aan de Hoevestraat. Anna was een sterke vrouw, ze heeft het niet gemakkelijk gehad door de jarenlange ziekte van Herman. Hij is op 7 april 1973 overleden en het gemis was groot. Door haar eigen kracht en gesteund door familie en buren heeft ze het gezin draaiende kunnen houden. Ze was een familiemens, genoot van haar gezin. Klein- en achterkleinkinderen waren haar trots. Verjaardagen werden nooit overgeslagen. Ze was een hardwerkende vrouw, haar handen stonden nooit stil. Ze werkte in de tuin en in de vrije uurtjes handwerkte ze graag. Door de komst van de Betuwelijn werd ze gedwongen te verhuizen en ging samen met Chris naar de Pannerdenseweg. Na anderhalf jaar verhuisde Anna naar het Masiusplein, waar ze ruim 10 jaar zelfstandig heeft gewoond. Ze paste zich makkelijk aan. Ze genoot van de bingo, zingen met Mies en donderdags na de kerkdienst gezellig samen koffiedrinken. Ook bleef ze trouw aan de soos in Oud-Zevenaar om te solo kaarten. In de loop der jaren kreeg Anna lichamelijke beperkingen die steeds meer werden en daardoor verhuisde ze ruim een jaar geleden naar de verpleegafdeling van de Pelgromhof, waar ze liefdevol werd verzorgd. Op 30 december 2011 is ze vrij onverwachts overleden. Overgenomen van haar bidprentje.
