    De familietak welke is onderzocht vindt zijn oorsprong in Leusden, Derkje Willems trouwde met Aart van Putten. Zij komende uit Nijkerk, hij uit Leusden.
    Rond 1800 verspreid de familie zich richting Hoevelaken en Hoogland en verblijven daar tot rond 1870 wanneer Aalt van Putten en Peetje Schoonhorst naar Amersfoort verhuizen. Hun zoon Leendert was melkslijter en woonde op de Bisschopsweg nr. 3; zijnzoon Aalt was voornamelijk werkzaam in de horeca, in Amsterdam en in Amersfoort.
