    Familie Maijer
    De familietak welke is onderzocht, vindt zijn oorsprong vooralsnog omstreeks 1730 in Oberwinden nabij Freiburg (D) alwaar voorvader Nicolaus Georgius rond 1755 werd geboren. Na zijn huwelijk in ca. 1795 met een meisje uit Varseveld (Gld.) worden twee zoons in Utrecht geboren. De familie verblijft lange tijd in het Utrechtse, namelijk Utrecht en Zeist.
    In 1874 gaat Anthonie Fransiscus met een meisje uit Amersfoort trouwen en komt de familie-tak naar deze regio.
    De familie Meijer krijgt door het huwelijk in 1929 van Wilhelmina Antonia een relatie met de familie van Leijenhorst en een huwelijk medio 1939 een relatie met de familie IJzer.
