    Hugo VIII van Lusignan (1106-1173), bijgenaamd de Oude, was een zoon van Hugo VII van Lusignan en van Sarrasina van Lesay. Hij was graaf van Lusignan en van Couhe, in opvolging van zijn vader. Hij was gehuwd met Bourgogne van Rancon (- 11 april 1169), dochter van Godfried III van Taillebourg, Hugo was een verwoede kruisvaarder en trok in 1164 opnieuw op kruistocht, hij nam deel aan de Slag bij Harim, waar hij werd gevangengenomen en stierf in 1171 in de Citadel van Aleppo in het Heilige Land
