    Verschijnt in 1578 en 1579 driemaal voor de schepenen van Roosendaal, hij leent dan geld en verkoopt land op de Kortendijk in het oosten van Roosendaal.Het laatst treedt hij op 30 maart 1579 op en kort daarna
    moet hij overleden zijn. Op 9 november 1580 en nog eens op 4
    maart 15813 is er namelijk sprake van Maeycken Piersdocher,
    weduwe Mathijs Cornelïssen die men noempde Hertoch, die weer
    percelen gelegen op de Kortendijk verkoopt.
