    Lodewijk I van Chiny (ca. 970 - 28 september 1025) was een zoon van Otto I van Chiny en van Ermengarde van Namen. Hij volgde in 987 zijn vader op als graaf van Chiny. In 1024 werd hij graaf van Verdun, toen graaf Herman zich in een klooster terugtrok. Hermans broer Godfried accepteerde dit niet, trok ten strijde tegen Lodewijk en doodde hem in 1025.
