    Boso I van la Marche, bijg. Le Vieux-de Oude, (-988 ?) was een zoon van Sulpicius en alzo een kleinzoon van Godfried, eerste graaf van Charroux, d.i. het gebied la Marche, waar Charroux de hoofdplaats van was. Boso wordt graaf van La Marche genoemd in het stichtingscharter van de kerk van Dorât in 944. Hij steunde, tegen de wil van Arnold Manzer in, de kinderen van graaf Bernard van Périgord, met wiens zuster, Emma, hij getrouwd was. Toen Arnold van Périgord kinderloos overleed, volgde Boso hem op als graaf van Périgord. In een charter uit 955, wordt hij ook markgraaf genoemd en wordt Limousin omschreven als een deel van Périgord.

    Boso liet het kasteel van Bellac in Neder-Marche bouwen. In de regeringsperiode van Lotharius werd hij, samen met zijn zoon Eli, verslagen door Gwijde, zoon van burggraaf Gérald van Limoges.
