    Neeltje huwde met Jan Zutt, een nazaat van de Maire van Sint Maarten. Over deze maire (burgemeester) is een aardig verhaal bekend. Toen de maire met een van de raadsleden op pad was voor een raadsvergadering kantelde de karos waarin zij zich vervoerden. Het ongelukkige raadslid brak tengevolge hiervan zijn been. Toen de man na enige tijd hersteld was meldde hij zich weer bij de maire Zutt voor vervoer naar de raadsvergadering. Deze voegde hem echter toe, dat hij een man met dergelijke broze benen niet meer wenste te vervoeren.
    Nazaten van deze maire wonen anno 1985 nog in Waarland.
