graaf (1049-1061), vermoord 19-5-1061 Floris I (1030 ? 28 juni 1061) was van 1049 tot 1061 graaf van Holland en graaf van West-Friesland. Floris werd omstreeks 1030 geboren. Hij trouwde in circa 1050 met de in 1033 geboren Geertruida van Saksen. Zij was de dochter van Bernhard II, hertog van Saksen en Eilica van Schweinfurt. Op de terugtocht van Zaltbommel werd Floris I te Nederhemert vermoord; hij werd begraven in de Abdij van Egmond. Zijn dochter Bertha was gehuwd met Filips I van Frankrijk.
