Walter E. Wells, 73, of Cornell Ill, died at 11:49 p.m. Saturday, Sept 18, 1993 at Veterans Medical Center, Iowa City, Iowa. Services were held at Solon Funeral Home with Rev. Lindsay Rhodenbbaugh of St. Paul's Evangelical Luthern Church Surviving are his wife, Norena of Cornell, a son Dale of Normal, Ill., two daughters; Cheryl Palko of Streator, Ill. and Cindi Wells of Bloomington Ill. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren; Daina, Kara and Kaila Wells of Normal, Ill, Crystal and Brad Palko of Streator, Ill., Sisters Gracie Genseal andd Georgia Pharris of Selma, Ca., Rosia Marshall of Kingsburg, Ca., and brothers Johnny Wells of Reynolds Indiana and James Leon Wells of Oklahoma.
