Memorial services were held Monday, Dec. 12 at Hippensteel Funeral Home, Lafayette, Ind. Ashes were strewn on his deceased wifes burial plot in Marseilles, Ill. Surviving are his son, Ronald Wells of Remington, Ind. adn daughter Linda K. Vernon of Oak Park, Ill and grandchildren Christopher Lee Vernon of Oak Park, Ill, Joshuah William and Bridget Kay Wells of Indiana, sisters Gracie Genseal and Georgia Phariss of Selma, Ca., Rosia Marshall of Hulbert, Oklahoma, and a brother Jim Wells, of Manford, Oklahoma. Preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Memorials directed to the American Diabetes Association.
