Notes about Anna Kakara

Obituary; PNEUMONIA FATAL TO MRS. HLAVINKA - HIGHLY RESPECTED RESIDENT PASSED AWAY AT ST. MARY'S HOSPITAL THIS MORNING. Mrs. Ann Hlavinka, a highly respected resident of this city, succumbed to a severe attack of pneumonia at St. Mary's hospital this morning at 6:45 o'clock after an illness of three weeks duration. The deceased was born in Austria-Hungary June 24, 1853, and came to the United States thirty six years ago and has resided in this city practically all that time. She was united in marriage to Andrew Hlavinka in this city twenty-five years ago. Mr. Hvalinka passed away several years ago. Surviving are five children as follows: John, Andrew, Mrs. Lee Porter and Thomas of this city; also the following brothers and sisters, mrs. Mary Lechman of Roslyn, Wash, John Kakara, Coorado Springs, Andrw Kakara of Joliet, George Kakara of Streator, Michael Kakara of Washington, and one sister in Austria-Hungary. The funeral arrangements will be announced later. Mrs. Hlavinka was a member of St. Stephen's church and St. Mary's society.
