After Robert's death, Jane continued to live in the same house. In the 1861 the census schedule reads: Jane Sherren, widow, 65, fund holder born Little Bredy; plus a servant. Then in 1871 census: Jane sherren 87, annuitant born Little Bredy; Robert Honeybourne, visitor, married, 54 retired victualler born Abbotsbury; plus a servant. Robert Honeybourne was, most probably, Jane's nephew. Jane died at the age of 92 years and was buried beside her husband Robert.
