Thomasin was also of Nether cerne when she died and she too was buried in the Broadmayne churchyard on 29 August, 1761. the wording, engraved on the north side of the box tomb is:Here lieth the body of Thomasin, wife of Henry sherren, who died August ye 26 1761aged 74 years. She was in fact, aged 79 then. She had probably put her age down five years when she married Henry. Ten years older sounds better than fifteen.excerpt taken from Thea & Frances book, page 2/3
