Notes about Tony Edward Milam

Tony Edward Milam, 47, of Stockbridge, died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, at Henry Medical Center in Stockbridge.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, at Hopewell Baptist Church with the Rev. Ralph Harrell officiating.

Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Terry Bennett, Wayne Kelly, Kyle Ferguson, John Sloan, J.M. Clearwater and Ken Lewis.

Biker Buddies will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Mr. Milam was born Feb. 1, 1964, in Moultrie, son of the late Jerry Milam and Dorothy McMurphy Milam.

He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Robin Milam of Stockbridge; two daughters, Shasta Milam of Stockbridge and Melissalynn Perkins of Boulder, Colo.; three brothers, Steve Milam and wife Vickie of Berlin, Randy Milam and wife Annette of Hartsfield and Bobby Hendrix of Monroe, Ga.; four sisters, Paula McMillan of Moultrie, Julie Howell of Morven, Kathy Medina of Autreyville and Donna Kay Hall and husband Randy of Moultrie; nieces, Jennifer McMillan Melton, Catherine Howell Brunt, Monica Medina, Keri Milam, Hunter Hendrix and Taylor Hendrix; nephews, J.J. McMillan, Mark Milam and Jerry Milam; great-nieces, Savanna McMillan, Emily Brunt, Victoria Milam, Miranda Milam, Shannon Hancock and Richard Hancock; and great-nephews, Izak Melton, Harley Melton, C.J. Brunt and D.J. Brunt.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Elaine Barnes, and a niece and nephew, Amber Burton and Michael Medina.
