Nee heeft het in haar eerste huwelijk behoorlijk moeilijk gehad. Eerst een druk boerenleven en met de kinderen, daaraan de crisistijd daardoor ontstond een slechte periode en uiteindelijk ging het boe
renbedrijf faliet. Haar man Dirk was toen al ziek. Ze zijn toen naar Berkenwoude gegaan als klein boertje (varkens) om nog de kost een beetje te verdienen. Daarna verhuisde tante naar Gouderak waar vo
or haar de moeilijkste periode van haar leven aanbrak, zonder man met 3 kleine kinderen geen inkomen en de Oorlog. In de oorlog kwam tante in contact met Jan Hagen teelboer in Noordholland waar ze in
