Andreas Wilhelm Huiskens en zijn vader Andreas Huiskens staan in februari 1906 terecht voor poging tot moord met voorbedachten rade, althans poging tot zware mishandeling met voorbedachten rade. Poging tot moord wordt echter niet bewezen geacht. Andreas wordt op 8 maart 1906 veroordeeld tot een jaar gevangenisstraf wegens zware mishandeling. Andreas Wilhelm krijgt vijf maanden gevangenisstraf. In hoger beroep wordt dat nog verhoogd tot zes maanden.
