Голенищева-Кутузова-Смоленского, в январе 1869 году была возведена императором Александром II в графское Российской империи достоинство под именем графини Богарне. От этого брака осталась дочь Дарья, получившая титул матери.1878 – на двоюродной сестре первой супруги, Зинаиде Дмитриевне Скобелевой(11.06.1856-04.06.1899), дочери генерал-лейтенанта Дмитрия Ивановича Скобелева, младшей сестре известного военачальника генерал-адьютанта М.Д.Скобелева. Указом императора Александра II в июле 1878 она возведена в графское достоинство под именем графини Богарне, а в августе 1889, императором Александром III ей предоставлено право именоваться светлейшей герцогиней Лейхтенбергской.
