groot appartement "komunalka", dat wil zeggen dat in elke kamer een hele

familie woonde met een grote keuken voor iedereen. Rebecca's man overleed

voor de oorlog, hun zoon Yizya leed aan het syndroom van Down. Zij was

een erg goede vrouw en haar leven was moeilijk.
