Born April 10, 1916 to Biagio & Francesca Luciano in Lansing, MI, Mary passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012 at the age of 96.

Mary was a woman of faith who dedicated her life to her loved ones. Her greatest joy was spending Christmas Eve with her close-knit Italian family. Mary's family came to America from Messina, Sicily, and she was incredibly proud to be Italian.

Mary is preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Harry Kosier, who passed in 1994; son-in-law Robert Cummings; brothers Charles and Sam Lucian; and sisters Beatrice, Cloeta, and Josephine. She is survived by her brother, Leo Lucian; daughters, Nancy Cummings, Janis (Dennis) Strang; grandchildren, Cheri (Ed) Cummings, Erik V. (Jennifer) Cummings, Kristin (David) Knisely, Lisa (James) Cook, Mary Jo (Pasquale) Coscarelli, Paul Neirink, Wendy Strang, Michael (Laura) Strang, Amy (Chad) DeRosia; and 17 great-grandchildren.

A mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, 102 W. Randolph St, Lansing, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing. Friends may sign the online guestbook at www.tiffanyfuneralhome.com. Donations may be made in Mary's name to Eaton County Hospice.
