Funeral Services Are Held for Ben Hauskins at Church in Rake

RAKE-Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Liberty Lutheran church for Ben O. Hauskins, 72, who died at the Naeve hospital in Albert Lea, Minn.,. Monday.

The Rev. J. A. Arneson of Kiester, Minn., conducted the services. Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Hove sang two selections as special music. Mr. Hauskins was born in Slavanger, Norway. At the age of 19 years he came to the home of his brother Hans near Roland. He resided on a farm west of Rake since 1906, with the exception of the last three years when he made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Joe Sandum near Alden, Minn.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Joe Sandum of Alden, Mrs. Everett Sleeper of Lakota and Mrs. Carl Anderson of Stevens; two sons, Ole and Carl Hauskins of Stevens, Ole of Morris, Minn., and Gean of East Chain, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Haukoos of Walters. His wife died eight years ago.
