'Mr. Knock,

Hi! I got your name and e-mail addy from the Rootsweb site and am interested in your Sebren family line. My gr gr Grandmother was Sarah F. Sebren--she married (1) John Singletary and (2) Gabriel Campbell. I have just recently foundwhat I think is Sarah's family in the 1870 Fed Census: George W. Sebren, Elizabeth (wife), Sarah, Henry, Margaret, and Martha in Rankin, MS. Sarah was born Oct. 19, 1850 and died July 10, 1917 and is buried in the Belmont Cemetery,Belmont, Sabine Parish, LA. The George Sebren that you have listed is, I believe, Sarah's brother and, if so, he is also buried in the Belmont Cemetery. The tombstone gives George's birth/death dates as follows: b. Nov 14, 1848 and d.Mar 22, 1937. Next to him is Isabelle Ann Sebren born Oct. 9, 1854 and died Apr 17, 1934.

My grandmother was the granddaughter of Sarah Sebren and John Singletary and I just recently started trying to piece together the info for my grandmother's family line. If you would like to trade info, please contact me at this e-mailaddy.

Hope to hear from you soon,

Shelia Lockwood
