"HE LIVED IN BERLIN UNTIL 1905 WHEN HE CAME TO USA WITH FAMILY AND SETTLED IN TWIN BROOKS AREA. ATTENDED SCHOOLS IN TWIN BROOKS AND KILBORN TWPS. GRADUATED FROM 8th GRADE IN 1915. AFTER MARRIAGE FARMED UNTIL 1957-MOVED TO MARVIN. 1960MOVED TO WATERTOWN WHERE HE WORKED FOR SWEETMAN CONSTRUCTION CO.FOR 19 YRS. RETIRED IN 1979 AND CAME TO MILBANK. MEMBER OF ZION PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.DIED AT WHETSTONE VALLEY NURSING HOME. BURIED AT OSCEOLA CEMETERY. SURVIVED BY WIFE, 2SONS, 1 DAUGHTER,10 GRANDCHILDREN,20 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN."
