He later moves to Toledo to live with family.

DEATH: From Weiss/Wyse Ancestors and Descendants: Perrysburg, O, Dec 3, 1938. A long illness with infirmities of age brought to a close last evening the life of Ezra Morningstar, 81, of this place, at the Flower Hospital in Toledo. Thebody will be taken to the home of his son, Ira, in his place tonight. Funeral services will probably be held Monday at Archbold and internment will be there. Mr Morningstar was born in Waterloo, Ontario in 1857 to Mennonite parents. Hegained a fine early education and established himself in business as an optician and store manager in Maumee for many years. For the past several years he has lived with his son here. He was a faithful member of the Mennonite church and avery devout Christian man with a fine character and friendly manner. Surviving him are three daughters, Mrs Estelle Fredericks of Toledo, Mrs Arvada Davis of Los Angeles, Mrs Edna McLaughlin of Dayton; five sons, J.D., Ernest and Forestof Toledo, George of Tucson, Ariz, and Ira at home. Seven brothers and two sisters also survive. NOTE - Buried at Lauber Hill Reformed Mennonite Church Cemetery on the north side of drive separating old and new sections in row 10, 4thperson north of drive between Christ Eicher and Clarence Weber in and unmarked grave. Per Oakley Myers, Minister of the church who has the cemetery records. Change Date: 31 OCT 2003 ...
