Kenneth Leroy Bossman, son of Harvey and Ethel (Radloff) Bossman, was born September 3, 1939 near Harrisburg, SD. He attended Lincoln Bubolz School and graduated from Harrisburg High School. Ken furthered his education at the University of South Dakota at Vermillion; Nettleton Commercial College in Sioux Falls; National College of Business in Rapid City; and Enterprises for the Blind in Arkansas.

Ken's professional career included positions with the South Dakota State Highway Department in Pierre and Beresford, SD; Ross Accounting in Mitchell, SD; E.K. William's Company in Sioux Falls; and the Internal Revenue Service both in Aberdeen, SD from 1972 to 1983 and in St. Paul, MN from 1983 to 1991.

Ken was a member of numerous civic and professional organizations including the South Dakota Association of the Blind; the HUB City Lions Club; the Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship International; the Elks; the Moose Lodge; and the Eagles. He was a member of Masonic Blue Lodges, Aberdeen Lodge #38 of Aberdeen, SD where he was a life member and a duel membership at St. Paul Lodge #3 of St. Paul, MN, Scottish Rite and York Rite Bodies, Minnesota Chapter #1 of Royal Arch Masons, St. Paul Council #1, Damascus Commandery #1 Knights Templar, Yeldez Shrine in Aberdeen, SD, and Ghora Khan Grotto.

Grateful for having shared his life are his children, Edwin Bossman and his wife, Rhonda, Rapid City, SD; Kyla Mitcheltree, Inver Grove Heights, MN, Harlan Bossman and his wife, Gina, Rapid City, SD, James Bossman and his wife, Beth, Inver Grove Heights, MN; his father, Harvey Bossman, Tea, SD; 12 grandchildren, Patrick Driscoll, Brandon Rhodes, Tanya Bossman, Justin Rhodes, Richard Mitcheltree, Cody Bossman, William McGaha, Nicholas Bossman, Kaycee Mitcheltree, Reis Bossman, Tatiana Bossman, and Autumn Bossman; one brother, Rev. Dennis Bossman and his wife, Beryl, Brandon, SD; one niece, Emily Bossman, Brandon, SD; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Ken was preceded in death by his mother; and a brother and sister in infancy.
