"Leonard always said he never left the farm but had lived in Lenawee County, Michigan, Lucas and Fulton Counties in Ohio (this land formerly was Michigan territory, then Lucas Co before it became Fulton Co. in 1850). In his later yearshe lived and worked at the Markey Bronze Factory in Delta. He lived his entire married life on the family farm which was later taken over by his son Robert Sindel. He held several offices in Pike Township. The farm was later sold toBill and Ginny Schmidlin who have established a large greenhouse business on the farm."
