William A. 'Bill' Fox
October 3, 1926-January 7, 2016

William "Bill" A. Fox, 89, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on January 7, 2016 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana.

William was born October 3, 1926 in Hillgrove, Ohio to the late L. Cornell and Mary (Crouse) Fox.

Bill served his country proudly in the United States Army.

He was a retiree of Sheller-Globe after working 35 ½ years.

Bill drove a school bus for Liberty Local and Westmont High School and was a volunteer firefighter for Liberty Township Fire Department.

He stayed very active and had a home business, Fox Rubber Stamps. Bill was a 65 year member of the Masonic Lodge in Versailles and Gettysburg.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth [Aileen] Sullenbarger Fox and his grandson Scott Johnson.

Bill is survived by his children, Joyce and husband Raymond Johnson of Gettysburg, Ohio, Betty and husband Rod Hartzell of Greenville, Ohio, Roger Fox and his fiancée Loretta of Las Vegas, Nevada, Karen and husband Doug Shoenleben of Gettysburg, Ohio, and John and wife Crystal Fox of West Milton, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, a niece as well as numerous friends.

A celebration of Bill's life will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 7 PM at Oliver Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Eric Fee officiating.

Friends and family may visit on Tuesday from 5 PM-7 PM. Masonic services will be held at 7 PM.

A private burial will follow at the convenience of the family in Greenville Township Memorial Gardens will full military honors.

Family request donations be given to State of the Heart Hospice or Reid Hospice in lieu of flowers.
