"Ruth. L. Ebel March 12, 1917 - March 14, 1995

Ruth L. Ebel, 78, Charlotte Street, died at 12:37 a.m. today in Bucyrus [OH] Community Hospital.

She was born in North Olmstead [OH] to Percy and Thora (Peterson) Sprague. She was married July 31, 1938, to Joseph H. Ebel, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Judith L. Rehm of Bucyrus, four grandchildren, Wendy Guimond of Marietta, Suzanne Longsworth of Cambridge, R. Joseph Ebel of Marion and Amy Slagle of Bucyrus, a brother, William Sprague of Bethesda, Md., andtwo sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Esther) Wohlever of North Ridgeville and Kathryn Walsh of North Olmstead. Preceding her in death were a son, Robert G. Ebel, and a brother, Lloyd Sprague.

A homemaker, Mrs. Ebel lived in Galion for 18 years before moving to Bucyrus 22 years ago. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sulphur Springs.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Wise Funeral Home. Pastor Don Brown will officiate with burial in St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church through the funeral home."
