Source: Stringfellow, Helena, Alwood ancestor chart, (Publication location: Carlisle PA, Publisher: H.S., Publication date: Jan MCMXCV) for name.

1840 Heidelberg Twp., York Co., PA census, Repository: Dallas TX pub. lib. has a woman between the ages of 20 & 30 living in the home of Washington Allwood. Her birth would have been between 1810 & 1820.

1850 Census, Repository: Dallas TX pub. lib. - place of birth = MD, age = 37y.

Buried in Mt Olivet Cem., Hanover, PA

For 18 Jan 1877 death information, Mrs. Helena Stringfellow cites the 20 Jan 1877 obituary in the Hanover Herald.

The censuses for Margaret give states of birth in MD & PA. I prefer the 1850 census MD because this census taker took the trouble to list the county of birth for those born in PA. For Margaret, he simply has MD. If she had been born inPA, he would have noted the county of her birth.
