Brian is survived by his two sons, Robert and Tyler Rippentrop; mother, Gertrude Rippentrop-Karli; sister, Cheryl (Randy) Crampton; nephew, Jeffrey (Connie) Jensen; and niece, Kimberly (Kendal) Paulsen. He is preceded in death by his father, Walter Rippentrop.

Sioux Falls, SD- Brian Ray Rippentrop, age 63, died on Monday, December 15, 2014 at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD, surrounded by his family and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Brian Ray Rippentrop was born on January 3, 1951 in Belleville, Illinois (on Scott Air Force Base) to Walter and Gertrude (Berkhof) Rippentrop. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Sioux Falls, SD. Brian was united in marriage to Cindy Suing on June 11th 1987. From this union the couple had two sons, Robert and Tyler. Brian is survived by his two sons, Robert Rippentrop, Sioux Falls, SD, and Tyler Rippentrop of Sioux Falls, SD; mother, Gertrude Rippentrop-Karli, Storm Lake, IA, formerly of Brandon, SD; sister, Cheryl (Randy) Crampton, Storm Lake, IA; nephew, Jeffrey (Connie) Jensen, their children, A.J., Nicole and Ryan; niece, Kimberly (Kendal) Paulsen and their children, Conner and Courtney.
