"Lester C. Rehm

Lester C. Rehm, 84, of 600 E. Southern Ave., died Thursday, Aug. 22 in Heartland of Bucyrus. He had been in failing health for the past year.

Mr. Rehm was born Sept 6, 1900 in Bucyrus to John George and Dora (Kent) Rehm. He was married July 11, 1921 to Mary C. Myers, who preceded him in death Dec. 30, 1975.

Mr. Rehm is survived by nine children, Carl, Bucyrus, John E., Cleveland, Jack N., Bucyrus, Mrs. William J. (Doris) Bloom, Mrs. Mary Ann Worden and Shirley Rehm, all of Bucyrus, Richard N., Raleigh, N.C., Mrs. James L. (Susan) Oberlander, Bucyrus, Mrs. Kenneth (Carol) Bell, Bucyrus.

Also surviving are 19 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, a brother, Edwin R. of Venice, Fla., and two sisters, Alberta Schill of Fremont and Alice Kent of Bucyrus.

He was preceded in death by a son, Wayne, and three sisters.

Mr. Rehm was a lifetime area resident. He had worked a number of years at Crawford Steel and retired from Cobey Corp. in 1962. He was a corporal with the 12th Cavalry in World War I.

Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in Oakwood Cemetery. Rev. James F., Updegraff and Rev. M.P. Paetznick will officiate.

No calling hours will be observed. Those who wish to do so may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association through the Wise Funeral Home."
