Obituary of Richard Rehm

Richard "Flint" Noel Rehm, 76, of Leesburg, Florida, found eternal peace on Saturday, August 18, 2012. He was born on May 28,1936 in Bucyrus, Ohio to Lester and Mary (Myers) Rehm.

Richard is survived by his wife of 26 years, Viviane "Vivi"; father-in-law, Jacques Mergeai; his beloved grandchildren, Zachary and Andrew Guimond and Carla Hargett; five sisters, Doris(William)Bloom, Mary Ann(Leroy) Kerdolff, Shirley Rehm, Susan(James)Oberlander and Carol(Kenneth)Bell. He is also survived by his children, Richard Lee Rehm, Wendy Rehm and Suzanne Longsworth and numerous nieces, nephews and friends from all over the world. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Mary and four brothers, Wayne, Carl, John and Jack.

Richard graduated in 1954 from Bucyrus High School and attended Ohio State University upon his return from a two year stint as a Private First Class with the U.S. Army in Germany. He went on to Tiffin University in Ohio and started a 31 year career with the ITT Corporation. Richard travelled extensively, domestically and internationally. His sense of humor, fair play and humility will always be remembered by those whose lives he touched. Richard's fortitude and courage during the last years of his life have earned him a special place in God's heart.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in his memory.
