Jacob Saienga died July 17, 1954, at Harley, he was born April 26, 1876, Melivn, Illinois, to Adda Saienga and Bruna Deitten Saienga, the second chid of four children. The family moved to Geowey Twp, when Jacob was seven years old; he attended Baker Twp., schools.

He married Minnie Hesebeck of Ocheyedan Twp., of June 21, 1900.

He is survived by his wife, Minnie; three nephews, Edward Saienga of Montevideo, Minn; Richard Saienga of Melivn and Ralph Saienga of Bagley, Iowa. One niece, Mrs. Carl Wackerbarth of Ocheydan; preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister, buried July 20, in Baker Twp., Cemetery.

Note: son of Adde Saienga and Burna Diddens.
