"Walter T. Lesczynski April 10, 1934-May 14, 2009

May 16, 2009 MARBLEHEAD Walter T. Lesczynski, 75, of Marblehead, passed away May 14, 2009, in Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton. He was born April 10, 1934, in Hamtramck, Mich., the son of Julia Lesczynski. On June 24, 1972, on Kelleys Island, he married Mary Navorska and she preceded him in death in 2004. Walter was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include his daughters, Theresa Trumpower of Kelleys Island and Julia (Tommy) Allen of Cleveland; nine grandchildren; three great-grandsons; nieces, Judith Lesczynski of Michigan, and Bridget Navorska and Mary Schiender, both of Wyoming; nephews, Mark Navorska of Oklahoma and Howard Navorska of Florida; and brother-in-law, Richard Navorska of Wyoming. Walter was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; parents; sisters, Jenny and Camilla; and brothers, Tony and Edward. A graveside service on Kelleys Island, will be observed at a later date. Memorial contributions in Walter's memory may be given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Memphis, Tenn., or to a charity of the donor' s choice. Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory assisted the family with arrangements. Condolences may be shared with the family at walkerfuneralhomes.com."
