OBITUARY, The Osceola County Tribune, 22 September 1977, page 9: Henrietta Heindyk, age 62, died Thursday, September 15, 1977, at her home in Sibley. Funeral services were held Monday, September 19, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Sibley. Rev. Ray Krueger of Shakopee, Minnesota, officiated. Burial was in Holman Township Cemetery with Walton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Henrietta, the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Holt, was born April 17, 1915, Sibley. She lived in Sibley all her life. On June 23, 1931, she married Gerrit Heindyk in Doon, Iowa. She worked at Bob's Red Owl for several years and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband, Gerrit; one daughter, Marjorie (Mrs. Norman) Veen of Sibley; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. S.L. Thompson of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada; her step-mother, Mrs. Alma Holt of Luverne, Minnesota; and three sisters, Jeanette (Mrs. Douglas) Doggett of Hartford, South Dakota; Frances (Mrs. E.) Hill of Rochester, New York; and Marian (Mrs. Ralph) Savage of Luverne, Minnesota.
