LeRoy Divine Nordstrom, age 73 of Peyton, Colorado passed away May 27, 2005 in Colorado Springs. Mr. Nordstrom was born on October 12, 1931 to Gustaf Peter and Lillie (Beyerle) Nordstrom in Mobridge, South Dakota. He married Gail Tatro on May 22, 1956 in Pierre, South Dakota. He started Midwest Barricade Co. Inc. in 1974, Leroy retired in 1995 and it is still family owned and operated. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He is a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. He is survived by wife; Gail Nordstrom, two sons; Barry (Sherrie) Nordstrom of Peyton, and Mark (Kristin) Nordstrom of Penrose, one daughter; Kim (Steve) Thune of Colorado Springs, one brother; Lloyd Nordstrom of Belle Fourche, South Dakota, five grandchildren; Niomi, Christopher, Bryan, Kelly, Tyler, and numerous other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Margaret Osterholt. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 1, 2005 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home Chapel, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd., Services will be Thursday, June 2, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Galley and Wooten Road. Graveside services will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Pikes Peak Hospice, 825 E. Pikes Peak Ave., Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903.
